of the same broken system. More than 40% of the world’s soils are degraded, billions
of people are affected, and the construction sector alone accounts for nearly 40% of
global emissions.
Yet within this challenge lies an extraordinary opportunity: To redesign our systems so
that they regenerate, rather than extract.

Soils are the foundation of life storing carbon, supporting biodiversity, and feeding the world. At the same time, the way we build is one of the largest drivers of emissions.
